A Step Towards Fighting Hunger in Nigeria
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, the bank launched the Fidelity Food Bank initiative, which saw the distribution of essential food items across seven communities in the Mabushi district.
During the event, Fidelity Bank’s Executive Director for the North, Mr. Sufiyanu Garba, highlighted the bank’s ongoing commitment to community welfare, emphasizing its alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 2, the global initiative to eradicate hunger.
“This initiative reflects our core responsibility to assist underserved communities and play a role in the fight against hunger in Nigeria,” Garba said. “While we cannot solve every issue, our efforts are making a tangible difference, as evidenced by the warm reception and feedback from those we help.”
Empowering Vulnerable Communities
