BBNaija Season 10 winner, Imisi, has revealed the emotional challenges she faced just weeks before auditioning for the reality show, including the loss of a pregnancy in April.

In a candid interview with TVC Entertainment, Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, described the period as “overwhelming” and said she prefers not to dwell on the painful experience. She shared that the tragedy occurred less than a month before she registered for Big Brother, adding significant emotional weight as she prepared to enter the house.

“It was this year in April. It was not even up to a month before I auditioned for Big Brother. The whole thing was so overwhelming for me. I do not want to talk about it,” she said.

Imisi also disclosed ending her relationship with ex-boyfriend Hakeem shortly before the auditions, calling the breakup “hectic” and admitting she hadn’t fully recovered from the heartbreak. She noted that her pre-show social media persona was influenced by him.

Despite these personal struggles, Imisi emerged victorious on October 5, outshining 28 other contestants to claim the N80 million cash prize and a brand-new SUV.
