The 62 62-year-old made an appearance on Good Day New York, stating that she was drugged at a bar during The Traitors reality competition’s Season 4 premiere in West Hollywood on January 8th.
Rinna made the claim on Monday, prompting the “Good Day New York” hosts to ask her about the show that took place at The Abbey in West Hollywood.
Rinna responded, “I had fentanyl in my system,” she says, adding that she took a drug test afterwards to confirm the substances in her body.
“I’m not kidding. I had fentanyl, high levels of amphetamines and other things,” she continued. “But I can’t talk a lot about it because we’re still dealing with it. It was leaked, and my team is dealing with it now,” she remarked.
The actress, a contestant on The Traitors, was photographed at the premiere, with one photo showing her in an all-black outfit and matching hat. Another picture showed Rinna and her “Traitors” castmates, clustered together for a group photo.
In a media statement, The Abbey said it “immediately conducted a thorough internal review” following Rinna’s report of an alleged drugging, including interviews with staff and a review of “all available surveillance footage.”
Stating that when the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills actress became unwell, the security team escorted her safely out of the venue.
“We found no evidence of drink tampering or suspicious behaviour toward her,” the statement read.
The reality TV Star explained that her husband, actor Harry Hamlin, and her co-star, Colton Underwood, came to her rescue after it was clear what had happened to her. Eventually, Hamlin helped her exit the premiere hastily.
Rinna has also claimed that many of her friends have had similar experiences at The Abbey.
