The Labour Party has urged supporters to disregard attempts by former members to create confusion over an INEC letter regarding Interim State Working Committees.
In a statement released on Saturday, the party spokesperson, Ken Eluma Asogwa said the party has addressed INEC’s concerns and is moving forward with its activities.

“Disgruntled and politically irrelevant former members peddling “beer-parlour gossip has fail as the matter has been resolved with the INEC.” he said
The party called on members to continue with membership revalidation and registration exercises on- going.
Supporters are also encouraged to prepare for party congresses and a national convention in the month of March and April.
“The Labour Party under Senator Nenadi Usman remains focused and undeterred.” he added.
Asogwa reassured party members that the leadership is on track despite critics’ antics.
