Fidelity Bank Plc, a leading Nigerian financial institution, has unveiled plans to empower 100 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the country with innovative digital tools aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, productivity, and long-term growth.

Through its Fidelity SME Empowerment Program (FSEP), the bank will provide selected growth-ready entrepreneurs with a comprehensive digital toolkit, including a POS desktop system, ERPRev software access, receipt printer, barcode scanner, inventory and management tools, tailored business training, and onboarding support with free Fidelity POS branding.

Commenting on the initiative, Osita Ede, Divisional Head, Product Development at Fidelity Bank Plc, said:

“Digitalisation unlocks exponential growth for SMEs. As Nigeria’s leading SME partner, we are delivering on our commitment by offering free digital toolkits to entrepreneurs. This aligns with our mission to help individuals grow, businesses thrive, and economies prosper.”

The initiative underscores Fidelity Bank’s dedication to promoting economic inclusivity and building a resilient SME ecosystem nationwide.

In celebration of World SME Day 2025, the bank recently granted entrepreneurs free access to its SME Hub in Gbagada, Lagos, and hosted a special mentoring session for female entrepreneurs led by CEO Dr. Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe. These efforts complement its regular SME masterclasses and targeted support for small businesses and creatives.

Serving over 9.1 million customers through digital platforms and 255 business offices in Nigeria and the UK (via FidBank UK Limited), Fidelity Bank is ranked among Nigeria’s top banks. Its recent accolades include:
