Fidelity Bank Plc has renewed its commitment to financial empowerment in Nigeria. The bank named 20 new millionaires during the seventh and eighth monthly draws of its Get Alert in Millions (GAIM) Season 6 Savings Promo.
The Lagos headquarters hosted the event. It also featured prize presentations for winners from the fourth, fifth, and sixth monthly draws.
Bank Reaffirms Savings Culture
At the ceremony, Chioma Nwankwo, Regional Bank Head, Lagos Central, represented Dr. Ken Opara, Promo Chairperson and Executive Director, Lagos & South West. She said the promo encourages consistent saving habits while rewarding loyal customers.
“Financial security begins with saving. GAIM 6 rewards this commitment,” she stated.
Furthermore, she explained that each winner receives financial advisory services to help them grow and manage their prizes.
Nationwide Winners and Transparent Process
Ten winners from each of the two draws came from different regions across Nigeria. This shows the campaign’s wide reach. Moreover, the draws were conducted electronically and monitored by the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) and other agencies for fairness.
Earlier winners also received their ₦1 million prizes. Beneficiaries included Stephanie Onome Gere, Itua Michael Ehinomen, Maduabuchi Kalu Anya, and Chioma Grace Nnodim.
Expressing her joy, Nnodim said, “I never imagined becoming a millionaire simply by saving. I encourage Nigerians to open a Fidelity account and start saving.”
GAIM 6’s Impact
Currently in its final month, GAIM 6 has distributed ₦85.4 million to 2,561 customers. This includes ₦60 million to 60 monthly winners, ₦7 million to 700 student Flex account holders, and ₦4.5 million to nine NYSC members.
In addition, special day prizes included ₦1 million each on Women’s Day and Workers’ Day, ₦10 million on Children’s Day, and ₦7.7 million for 1,550 weekly consolation winners.
