Tiwa Savage Fires Back at Follower Who Claimed She Was ‘Downgrading’ Herself Riding a Truck

Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has responded to a social media comment suggesting she was lowering her standards by riding on the back of a truck in a recent video.

According to Naija News, the follower commented under her post, claiming the singer was “downgrading herself.” Tiwa Savage, however, did not take the remark lightly. She fired back, asserting that she has moved far beyond what the critic implied.

The singer reminded the follower of her success and accomplishments, warning against speaking to her disrespectfully.

The user @marcussmth04 wrote: “Omo Tiwa downgrading herself 😥.”

Tiwa replied: “@marcussmth04 mumu said downgrade … I went from a pick up truck to a Gulf Stream. Una no get respect for your elders. I get money pass your papa.”

In other entertainment news, Sophia Momodu, the first baby mama of Nigerian singer Davido (David Adeleke), has cautioned fans against calling her the singer’s wife.

Naija News reports that during an Instagram live session, Sophia recounted her experience with a male content creator who publicly referred to her as “OBO’s wife.”

She emphasized that she does not appreciate being called Davido’s wife and highlighted the need to respect individuals’ choices and relationships. Sophia also revealed that she has moved on from the singer and hinted that she is now in a new relationship.
