“On this special day, we celebrate Nigeria’s rich history and the struggles for freedom. Let us embrace our democracy, promote unity, and work together to build a prosperous nation for all Nigerians,” she said.

Tella paid tribute to those who fought tirelessly for Nigeria’s democratic foundations, including those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the pursuit of liberty and justice. “Their sacrifices should inspire us to continue championing good governance, accountability, and transparency at all levels,” she noted.

She also highlighted the progress Nigeria has made in key sectors such as infrastructure, healthcare, and education, while urging continued civic engagement. “The power of grassroots democracy is evident when citizens actively shape policies that reflect our shared aspirations. Our journey is far from over, and it is our collective responsibility to secure a better future.”

Tella encouraged all Nigerians to remain informed and actively participate in community and national development. “It is only through your voices and actions that we can build a thriving and inclusive society,” she concluded.
