The brother of late actress Allwell Ademola has apologised to Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo following his earlier remarks accusing her of failing to support his sister.
He offered the apology during a memorial service, where he approached Ojo, prostrated, and asked for forgiveness over a viral video in which he called her out.
“Big mummy, please don’t be offended. You can see that I didn’t abuse you in the viral video. Please, I am sorry,” he said.
Iyabo Ojo accepted the apology and described the issue as settled. Embracing him, she said, “O ti lo (it’s in the past). To God, I have forgiven you.”
The controversy began after Allwell Ademola’s brother accused Iyabo Ojo and other celebrities of not supporting the actress while she was alive. Ojo later refuted the claim, stating that she had supported Ademola by featuring her in several of her movies without charging a fee.
