Primate Elijah Ayodele, founder of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has warned that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) might remove some sitting governors in the 2027 elections. According to him, certain state leaders are at risk due to poor performance and lack of public trust.
In a statement issued by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the cleric said that many governors will find it hard to return to office without rigging. He urged them to take this warning seriously.
Primate Ayodele noted that if the 2027 elections are free and fair, several governors would lose. He warned them not to underestimate the growing strength of the ADC coalition.
“Some Nigerian governors will be unseated by the ADC if care is not taken. On a free and fair platform, they won’t win. Their only option would be to rig,” he stated.
The cleric added that these governors must stop relying on influence alone and start working for their people.
Governors in Seven States Face Tough Battle
Primate Ayodele mentioned Akwa Ibom, Delta, Enugu, Cross River, Kaduna, Zamfara, and Ondo as states where the re-election of governors remains uncertain.
“The second-term ambition of these governors is not guaranteed. They must work hard and also pray,” he said.
He emphasized that governance must go beyond politics. According to him, only service-driven leadership will secure victory in 2027.
This warning follows an earlier prophecy from Ayodele two days ago. In that message, he cautioned the same group of governors to review their strategies and connect more with the people.
Rising Influence of the ADC Coalition
The cleric believes that the ADC platform will surprise many in 2027. He explained that although some may not recognize the party’s potential now, its influence is growing steadily.
Ayodele urged political leaders not to dismiss smaller parties, warning that many Nigerians are ready for a shift in leadership.
Observers say his prediction reflects ongoing dissatisfaction among citizens and a desire for new leadership across several states.
