Polaris Bank will host the 2025 edition of its Annual Media Capacity Seminar on July 17, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This year’s seminar, themed “Empowering Journalists in the Digital Age: Storytelling, Tools & Transformation,” will feature two renowned facilitators: Taiwo Obe, Founder and Director of the Journalism Clinic, and Abayomi Adisa, Senior Journalist at the BBC.

Now in its 11th year, the Polaris Bank Media Capacity Seminar has evolved into a flagship media education initiative dedicated to fostering journalism excellence and professional growth across Nigeria. Since its launch in 2015, the programme has trained over 5,500 journalists, equipping them with contemporary skills and tools required to thrive in the rapidly evolving media and AI landscape.

Building on the successes of previous years, the 2025 seminar will delve into critical aspects of modern journalism, including digital storytelling, transformative newsroom practices, and emerging tools that enable journalists to remain relevant and impactful in today’s fast-paced information era.

Attendance is free, but registration is required. Interested participants can register at bit.ly/PAMC2025.
