Award-winning Nollywood star Funke Akindele has released the official trailer for her new movie, Behind The Scenes, ahead of its London premiere scheduled for December 4 at Odeon Greenwich. The film is set for nationwide cinema release on December 12.
The drama centers on themes of resilience, healing, and the unspoken realities people often struggle with in silence. Akindele describes the project as a story of “truth, pressure, healing, and everything we don’t say out loud,” highlighting the emotional depth that drives the narrative.
Behind The Scenes follows several characters as they confront hidden battles, presenting a mix of vulnerability and strength expected to connect deeply with viewers.
The film features an ensemble cast of Nollywood stars and emerging talents, including Tobi Bakre, Iyabo Ojo, Uche Montana, Ini Dima-Okojie, Scarlet Gomez, Destiny Etiko, Ibrahim Chatta, Uzor Arukwe, Dele Odule, Wanni, Handi, Veeiye, Akinyoola Ayoola, and Balogun Fausat, among others.
