Reality TV star and former Miss USA, Nia Sanchez, and her husband Daniel Booko have joyfully welcomed their fourth child, a baby girl named Adelaide.
The couple, aged 35 and 41 respectively, shared the exciting news on Thursday, June 5, through a heartfelt Instagram post. “Sweet little memories from Adelaide’s first moments of life. We are absolutely in love! Birth story coming soon.” Nia wrote alongside a carousel of touching photos from the hospital.
Adelaide joins her older siblings, toddler Asher and twins Isabelle and Zariah, who were born on Father’s Day 2023. Sanchez revealed that this birth felt extra special due to its intimate nature.
“In our previous births, we had more people in the room and a doula. This time, it was just us, our doctor, and two nurses,” she told Us Weekly. “This birth was extra special because Danny was able to deliver the baby himself.”
According to the proud parents, Adelaide’s middle name, Nicole, honors Nia’s mother, who has played a crucial role in raising their children. Her first name pays tribute to Nia’s Mexican great-grandmother, Adelaida, and means “noble and kind.”
Their The Valley co-star Kristen Doute, who is also expecting, was quick to share her excitement. “We love you!! So excited for baby girl!!” the 42-year-old wrote on her Instagram Stories.
Photos from the hospital show Sanchez glowing as she holds her newborn, while another sweet snap features Booko with their daughters.
Sanchez has openly documented her fertility struggles, sharing in a past episode of The Valley that she was once diagnosed with unexplained infertility.
“It took us over a year and a half to get pregnant the first time,” she said. “Each month brought disappointment, hoping and praying for a baby.”
Now, with baby Adelaide safely in their arms, Nia shared that her other children are already showing love to their new sister. “They always want to hold her and sing songs to her,” she said. “They are already great older siblings!”
