Faith Ekwebenam, proudly representing Anambra State, has been crowned Miss International Nigeria 2025. She earned the title after outshining other finalists at the grand finale held on Sunday.
Ekwebenam to Represent Nigeria in Japan
With her victory, Ekwebenam will represent Nigeria at the 63rd Miss International Pageant, scheduled for November 27, 2025, at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo. She takes over the mantle from Perpetual Ukadike, who flew Nigeria’s flag at the 2024 edition.
Runners-Up Announced
The glamorous contest concluded with Miss Lagos named first runner-up. Other placements included Miss Bauchi, Miss Edo, Miss Cross River, and Miss Nasarawa, who secured the second to fifth runner-up positions.

In an extraordinary turn of events, Anambra recorded a second major win. Onyinyechi Basil, also from the state, clinched the Miss Universe Nigeria 2025 crown during a separate competition held in Lagos.
Basil triumphed after an intense showdown with Miss Lagos, Damilola Bolarinde, who finished as the first runner-up. Fortune Kurobo of Bayelsa secured second runner-up, while Irene Ikediashi of Ogun claimed the third runner-up spot.
Double Victory for Anambra State
The back-to-back victories gave Anambra both the Miss International Nigeria and Miss Universe Nigeria crowns, a feat hailed as historic in the Nigerian pageant industry.
