The Peoples Democratic Party faction led by tanimu turaki, SAN, has held a private meeting with former President goodluck jonathan.
Turaki arrived at jonathan’s maitama office in abuja on Tuesday around 5:45 p.m. He came with members of the party’s National Working Committee and a small group of state chairmen. The delegation travelled in six SUVs.
DAILY POST earlier reported changes within the pdp in rivers state. The turaki structure in the state collapsed into the aaron chukwuemeka faction. The group declared support for nyesom wike and pledged loyalty to him.
The meeting follows INEC’s decision not to recognise the turaki National Working Committee. The electoral body also recently withheld official acknowledgment of the faction. This occurred less than a week ago after INEC failed to recognise the committee led by Kabiru turaki.
