Nollywood veteran Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has finally addressed the ongoing rift between star actresses Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham, cautioning men to stay out of the conflict.
In a recent interview, the legendary actor described disputes between women as uniquely complicated, famously comparing them to “Hitler’s war.” Ogogo stated that while men often settle their differences with a conversation and a laugh, disagreements between women can be significantly harder to resolve.
“I don’t interfere in disputes among women,” Ogogo stated. “When men have issues, they talk them through and move on, but when it’s between women, it becomes more complicated than war, very difficult for anyone to step into. It is always worse than Hitler’s war, so any man who gets involved is not acting wisely.”
The actor expressed disappointment over the rivalry, questioning why two of the industry’s most successful figures are at odds despite the immense “favour and blessings” God has bestowed upon them both. He urged them to prioritise joy and gratitude over social media quarrels.
“What is the reason for the fight? What is really the problem when God has already blessed both of them, and they are fighting the next step?” he questioned. He further noted that while both are like his children, he would prefer to avoid anyone who chooses to remain in a state of jealousy or discord.
This intervention follows days of social media tension after a viral snub at a recent movie premiere sparked an unfollowing spree between the two movie icons
