The Chairman and CEO of Adron Group, Sir Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, KOF, has lauded Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for the successful launch of the maiden commercial flight from Gateway International Airport in Iperu-Ilishan.
In a statement, Emmanuelking described the event as a significant milestone that highlights Governor Abiodun’s strategic vision, strong leadership, and commitment to transforming Ogun State’s infrastructure and economy.
“The inaugural flight signals a new chapter for the state’s industrial and commercial growth, firmly establishing Ogun as the Gateway to Prosperity and Development in Nigeria,” he said.
He praised the Governor for turning long-held ambitions into reality, emphasizing that effective leadership requires both vision and the capacity to implement it.
Emmanuelking also suggested that the state government consider launching a state-owned airline, tentatively named “Gateway Air,” to boost tourism, trade, and the economic potential of the new airport.
He expressed confidence that under Governor Abiodun’s stewardship, Ogun State would continue to attract investment and emerge as a model of modern development.
“As Governor Abiodun continues to lead the state toward greater achievements, I pray for divine wisdom and strength to deliver the dividends of good governance to the people of Ogun State,” Emmanuelking added, describing the airport project as a lasting legacy.
