Idris Okuneye Olanrewaju, widely known as Bobrisky, has expressed that many of the issues Nigerians stress over are viewed quite differently outside the country.
In a recent Instagram post shared on Sunday, the controversial crossdresser revealed that relocating abroad significantly reshaped his perspective on life and priorities.
Bobrisky noted that what is often seen as major or problematic in Nigeria is typically considered trivial in other parts of the world. According to him, life overseas has taught him to value peace and simplicity far more than before.
He further stated that the change in environment has helped him distance himself from toxic influences and embrace a more peaceful way of living.
“I understand life better since leaving Nigeria. The things we used to worry about back home don’t hold the same weight here. Living abroad makes you appreciate life in a new way. Right now, I’m all about peace and staying far from anything toxic,” he shared.
Seyi Awolowo: ‘Monogamy Is a Struggle for Many Men’
In a separate development, former Big Brother Naija contestant and media personality, Seyi Awolowo, has stated that it can be difficult for men to stay committed to one woman.
Speaking in an interview with journalist Femi Obong-Daniels, the 34-year-old explained that the abundance of beautiful women in Nigeria makes monogamy particularly challenging for many men.
He likened the situation to being surrounded by a variety of appealing dishes, which naturally tempts one to desire more than just a single option.
Although he acknowledged that remaining faithful requires a high level of discipline, Seyi emphasized that loyalty is an admirable and rare trait in relationships.
