The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Felix Morka, declared on Wednesday that President Bola Tinubu’s leadership has surpassed that of his predecessors, including Olusegun Obasanjo, Goodluck Jonathan, and Muhammadu Buhari.

Morka made the remarks during a live interview on Arise Television Morning Show. He highlighted that within just two years in office, Tinubu has made significant strides in repositioning Nigeria’s priorities and addressing deep-rooted economic problems that previous administrations struggled to solve.

Felix Morka emphasized that President Tinubu’s administration has taken bold steps to realign the country’s priorities. “President Tinubu understands that leadership is about making tough, sometimes unpopular choices,” Morka said. “He is not interested in chasing fleeting popularity or easy wins. Instead, he is focused on reforms that will strengthen Nigeria’s economy for the long haul.”

According to Morka, Tinubu has confronted some of the nation’s most pressing economic issues head-on. These include stabilizing the national currency, improving government revenues, and promoting sustainable growth. Morka argued that these efforts show clear progress when compared to past administrations.

He also stressed that Tinubu’s reforms reflect a vision that goes beyond short-term gains. “The President is taking deliberate actions to secure Nigeria’s economic future. This approach requires patience and courage. But it is the right path for a country seeking lasting prosperity,” Morka explained.

When asked about opposition voices criticizing the government, Morka dismissed their arguments as politically motivated and unconstructive. “Opposition leaders such as Rotimi Amaechi, the former Vice President, and Malam Nasir El-Rufai continue to issue loud complaints. But they offer no real solutions,” he said.

Morka challenged the opposition to present clear policy alternatives. “So far, they have failed to put forward any informed recommendations. Their complaints remain vague and hollow. None of them have suggested what the President should do differently.”

He further noted that this silence reveals the strength of Tinubu’s policies. “In truth, many opposition figures know deep down that the President is doing what any responsible leader would do. They cannot dispute the positive direction of his reforms, so they resort to empty politicking.”

To end the interview, Morka urged Nigerians to support the President’s agenda. He appealed to citizens to look beyond the noise and recognize the necessity of difficult reforms. “These changes may be tough now, but they will pave the way for a stronger, more stable Nigeria. We ask all Nigerians to stay patient and united behind this vision.”
