During a recent press briefing at the Palace of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Eniitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, CFR, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, the festival’s lasting importance as a symbol of Yoruba heritage and a driver of social and economic development was emphasised.
