The Edo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called on residents to ensure President Bola Tinubu is voted out of office in the 2027 general election.
Speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting in Benin City, the State Caretaker Committee Chairman, Tony Aziegbemi, criticised the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration for allegedly ruining the nation’s economy and increasing citizens’ hardship.
Aziegbemi urged party members, leaders, and supporters to remain united in their mission to prevent President Tinubu from securing a second term.
He said, “Our next target as PDP in Edo State is to get Tinubu out of the presidency in 2027. They have ruined the economy, and the next mandate is to ensure he is removed from power.
“We cannot continue with this suffering or the way things are being run in this country. We charge you not to be discouraged. God, in His infinite mercy, will grant us the strength to go through this because hard times don’t last, but tough people do.”
