Youths from the South East, under the Coalition of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL), have announced plans to endorse President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The group revealed that a grand rally will hold on July 18, 2025, in Abia State.

Comrade Goodluck Ibem, the President General of COSEYL, disclosed this in a statement to newsmen. He said the rally will reflect the region’s support for Tinubu’s leadership and reform agenda.

Ibem praised the President’s efforts in empowering young people and transforming the economy. According to him, Tinubu’s policies have improved infrastructure, social welfare, and job creation.

“As youth advocates, we see a clear path to prosperity through President Tinubu’s leadership,” he said.
“His reforms show real commitment to building a better Nigeria.”

He encouraged Nigerians to ignore political attacks against the President. In his view, many criticisms stem from fear of his growing support across the country.

Rally to Unite South East Youths

COSEYL aims to use the rally to unite young people and promote national development. Ibem said the event will showcase the strength of youth voices in shaping Nigeria’s future.

“We invite every youth in the South East to join us. July 18 is our day to speak with one voice,” he said.

He stressed that Tinubu’s administration has offered young people more opportunities than past governments. He also urged participants to ignore divisive rhetoric and focus on progress.

“It’s time to rise above ethnic bias and politics of hate. Nigeria must move forward, and youths must lead the way,” Ibem added.

The coalition will announce more details in the coming weeks. This will include venue, guest speakers, and event logistics.

“We are planning a peaceful, impactful rally,” Ibem said. “It will show that the South East stands for growth, unity, and leadership.”

He called on youths nationwide to join hands in building a better future. According to him, Tinubu’s leadership deserves encouragement, not attacks.

“Let’s support a leader who has shown vision, strength, and dedication to Nigeria’s future,” he concluded.
