Nigerian Afrobeat music sensation Ibrahim Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid has paid a condolence visit to Fuji maestro Wasiu Ayinde, aka K1 de Ultimate, following the death of his mother Alhaja Halimot Anifowoshe.
A series of videos capturing his lovely moment with the ‘Kese’ Crooner at K1’s palatial mansion in Ijebu Ode on Sunday went viral online, leaving many fans gushing.
In a partial video, Wizkid rocked white native attire as he stepped out of his sleek black SUV jeep. He was highly welcomed by the Fuji Maestro and his crew members. They embraced each other tightly, showing their strong connection and bromance.
Recall that the Fuji legend recently announced his mother’s passing and she was buried the same day in accordance with Islamic traditions.
An eight-day Fidau prayer was held on Friday in Ijebu Ode to honor Alhaja Anifowoshe.
The event attracted notable figures, including legendary musician Ebenezer Obey, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, Deputy Governor Noimot Salako-Oyedele and Fuji stars Shefiu Alao and Pasuma.
Other personalities in attendance included MC Oluomo, poet Ajobiewe, actress Foluke Daramola and musician Taye Currency.
Several celebrities, such as actors Femi Adebayo, Mercy Aigbe and Faithia Balogun, as well as Aigbe’s husband Kazim Adeoti and Dayo Amusa, have also visited K1 to offer their condolences.
