Yagazie Foundation Selected As One Of The 20 NGOs To Receive Support From Lagos Food Bank Initiative
Yagazie Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization group in Lagos State, South West Nigeria is one of the beneficiaries selected by Lagos Food Bank Initiative to receive support from them for the good works and charity they have been doing in the state.
According to a letter Yagazie Foundation received from Lagos Food Bank Initiative, it read: “Congratulations! You have been selected as one of the 20 NGOs to receive support from Lagos Food Bank. We received over 1600 applications and after much review and scrutiny by our Team, your NGO was shortlisted and selected not only to receive support from LFBI this period but to be registered as one of our Partner NGOs for subsequent aid. It might interest you to also know that your organisation successfully scaled through this review and selection stage based on the following criteria;
1) Your organisation is covering location of interest for us and some of our brand partners
2) Your organisation has a visible track record of past interventions before Covid and has participated in Covid-19 relief plan
We will be donating items worth the value of N200, 000 to your NGO. Please bear in mind that this will be the beginning of our partnership as you are now confirmed as one of our partner NGOs for subsequent support”. The letter affirms.
Yagazie Foundation was established to complement the policy and programme designed by Federal Government of Nigeria and other relevant stakeholders in efforts towards reducing and ultimately eradicating the prevalent social problems and promoting an enabling environment for the children and youths in Nigeria.
