Yagazie Foundation Partners With African Cleanup Initiative with support from CocaCola to provide moneymaking venture for poor families through exchange of pet bottles for cash
Yagazie Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization group whose primary purpose is to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged in the society has done it again and this time, they partnered with the Project Host “African CleanUp Initiative with the support of CocaCola Nigeria to provide money making opportunity for the unemployed families and the destitute in the society especially during this COVID-19 pandemic.
Yagazie Foundation collaborated with the Projecr Host “African CleanUp Initiative (ACINIGERIA)”, The Coca-Cola Company, Wevo, Oliver’s Foundation and Recyclers Association of Nigeria to provide a lucrative task for poor families in the society in this difficult time through the exchange of waste pet bottles for money.
Yagazie Foundation partnered with the Host of the Project, African CleanUp Initiative ACI and other NGOs with the support of CocaCola to successful execute environmental awareness program as well as encourage the people living in Ijora Oloye community of Lagos State to substitute pet cans for money which would help sustain them and their family in this CoVid-19 pandemic.
It will in turn help to keep their environment clean and livable in order to avoid contacting of the Corona Virus. The sanitation exercise took place in Ijora Oloye area while the collection took place at the CDA Hall, Ijora Oloye, Apapa Lagos where the collectors of renewable were paid cash instantly.
After a successful exercise, The African CleanUp Initiative team went to the Oba Palace to appreciate him and the people in Ijora Oloye for coming out in large numbers to participate in the environment friendly exercise.
The African CleanUp Initiative states that this project would be replicated in Sango on the 16th of July, Epe on the 23rd of July
