Yagazie Foundation organises children’s Christmas party with support from Coca Cola, Kellogg’s Tolaram, other donors
Yagazie Foundation, a nonprofit organisation and her team visited children, youths and mothers at Ijesha playing ground and distributed Coca Cola gift packs, drinks and other items donated to them by Kellogg’s and other donors.
The children and mothers at the playing ground were so excited and happy. They expressed appreciation and confessed that they have not received such acts of charity and love in so many years.
They pleaded for a repetition of this kind of visitation from Yagazie Foundation as it will help disconnect them from poverty.
The event was very successful as the team, led by founder of Yagazie Foundation, Mr. Ezirim Kennedy and the Health Director, Pharm. Innocent Ijeoma, got the consent of the head of the Ghetto for a smooth charity work in the area which is apparently a playing ground for the less privileged children living in the slum.
Yagazie Foundation is also working hard to alleviate poverty and help reconnect the children back to school through a grassroot sports program and also engage their mothers in vocational workshops, agricultural practices and small scale businesses.
Yagazie Foundation requires the support of well-meaning Nigerians and organisations to be able to achieve this for the lessprivileged people living in the slums across Lagos.
