Singer Harrysong Arrested, Faces Charges At The Lagos Police Command
A video showing Nigerian singer, Harrison Okiri, popularly known as Harrysong, at the Lagos Police Command after his arrest has emerged online.
Vondigest reports that Harrysong was arrested on Tuesday morning after landing in Nigeria, following a petition sent to the Inspector General of Police by music executive, Soso Soberekon.
the video shared online, the embattled singer was captured walking alongside a man believed to be a police officer.
Harrysong once stated in an interview that friendships in the music industry are fake.
He also stated that Soso was his enemy, alleged that the popular music producer sent some people to kill him in Port Harcourt.
Soso in his response to the allegation, shares a post on his Instagram page, expressing his disappointment in Harrysong, questioning why the singer would make such a defamatory statement against him.
In a court statement shared online, Soso demands the immediate retraction, an apology and N500 million compensation.
He called on his supporters to remain calm as he would address the situation in a legal way.
