How NFF Is Utilizing Divine Instructions To Strengthen Nigeria’s Football
For several years, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has ignored spiritual warnings and divine instructions from men of God especially Primate Ayodele who has been a huge supporter of Nigeria’s football for several decades.
Primate Ayodele at different times has warned the football federation against fielding some players, playing in some stadiums but most of the time, they neglect the man of God and in the end, they pay heavily for their neglecting the warnings.
One of the many instances was the loss to Guinea Bissau at the Abuja national stadium. Before the match, Primate Ayodele warned the NFF not to use Abuja Stadium because it doesn’t have a good aura for Nigeria’s football. He advised the federation to check other stadiums instead of Abuja because of the spiritual implication on the country’s football.
After the team lost to a weaker Guinea Bissau, Primate Ayodele spoke again regarding the use of stadiums and the coaches. He called on the NFF president, Ibrahim Gusau to sack all the coaches and change the venue of the matches if truly the federation is after victory.
These were his words:
‘’NFF should sack all our coaches and get new, experienced ones that can move our football to the next level. Nigeria needs to go to the world cup, AFCON, there is no excuse for it. The president of NFF should sack these coaches. Moshood Abiola Stadium is not always a point of victory for super eagles, the NFF should check stadiums in Lagos and parts of the country’’
After a long time of ignoring the prophecy of the man of God, it seems the NFF has finally come to terms that Primate Ayodele is speaking the mind of God concerning the country’s football and there is a need for the federation to listen to the divine instructions.
At the moment, some of the coaches have been sacked and plans are currently going on to appoint the best hands to manage Nigeria’s football teams.
Also, The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has approved the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo for the Super Eagles’ next home game in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The major instructions given by Primate Ayodele have been obeyed by the Nigeria football federation (NFF) and definitely, and the football system will experience positive changes
