Vondigest exclusively reports that beautiful actress, Genevieve Nnaji is allegedly preparing to run for a political office in the country.
The news making rounds on social media for some time now regarding the mental health of Veteran actress, Genevieve Nnaji may not be absolutely correct.
Sources close to her revealed to Vondigest that the beautiful actress is of sound mind; says the news making rounds concerning her mental health is just fabrication.
The source, who does not want his name mentioned, said that the actress is allegedly preparing to run for a political office in the country. “Genevieve will soon declare to run for a position in the National Assembly. She has the backing of big political wigs in the country and she will be making her announcement soon.” He said.
Vondigest recalls that the rumours of her alleged mental illness started when the actress left cryptic messages on her Instagram page, refused to acknowledge birthday wishes and finally when she deleted all her photos on Instagram and unfollowed everyone. A popular gossip blog even provided proof that she is receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital in USA.
When the speculation was high enough, she came back to social media by simply posting a picture where she was painting, which indicates she was of sound mind.
This piece of information that she is allegedly coming out to run for a political position in the National Assembly will definitely destroy the rumor that she is mentally ill.
However, another source revealed to Vanguard that this might be a stunt pulled by the actress to make a big announcement. The source said that the actress could be up to something. “When entertainers want to draw attention to themselves or hype a particular project, they intend to create a buzz prior to the unveiling of the project. Let’s wait and see what comes out of this. But definitely, she’s fine,” said the source.
Vanguard’s Whispers’ investigation revealed that the Lionheart star is hale and hearty, and possibly cooking up something that will definitely take the country’s entertainment circuit by storm in the coming days.
Perhaps this is a publicity stunt she wants to use to launch her political career. We have seen those in the entertainment industry using all sorts of publicity stunts to launch a product, new music singles or even a political career just like in the case of Yul Edochie.
We can recall that few weeks ago, popular actor, Yul Edochie broke the Internet by announcing that he got married to a second wife and they have a son together. This generated a lot controversy online for days and he later came out to say he wanted to use the news to announce his intention to run for president and solicited for his fans support.
This might also be the case in Genevieve Nnaji’s situation. Perhaps this is another stunt to get media attention that will help launch her political career.
