Ejigbo DPO, Olabisi Okuwobi Feeds EndSARS Protesters
The Divisional Police Officer of Ejigbo Police division of the Nigeria Police Force, CSP Olabisi Okuwobi on Tuesday fed some #endsars protesters.
About 150 protesters who assembled at the Ejigbo mini stadium with placards protested in front of Ejigbo police station and demanded that all forms of police brutality must end.
CSP Okuwobi who gave out soft drinks, water and snacks for the over 150 protesters while addressing the protesters said, “Police is your friend and we are here to protect you. I am a mother and as a mother, I enjoin you to stay away from violence and crime. I am not a friend of criminals and those who disturb public peace,” she advised them.
One of the protesters who expressed his surprise at CSP Okuwobi’s gesture said, “This is the only police officer who has done this in Nigeria. I wish all Police officers were this kind. I will like to be a police officer in future just because of this DPO,” he said.
