Daughter of Mr Ibu ends 9 months old marriage after finding out husband is divorced with 3 kids
The daughter of Veteran Nollywood actor and comedian, John Okafor, popularly called Mr Ibu has ended her 9 month old marriage after finding out that her husband has three grown up daughters with his ex wife, Vondigest reports.
His daughter, Jasmine Chioma Okafor shared the news about her divorce on her Instagram page, where she wrote about the circumstances surrounding the divorce. She posted a picture she inscribed, “The End”.
According to her story, Jasmine met her husband on Tiktok, and he flew to Nigeria from the United States of America and married her in Gambia after two months of knowing each other.
According to Jasmine’s post, she heard the news of her husband’s kids and ex wife from her mother in-law. She added that she also just discovered his real age, stating that she ‘can’t put up with even the tiniest lie’, therefore she has decided to call off her marriage.
In a police statement released by Jasmine Okafor, her husband admitted to keeping the news of his previous marriage and kids from her because he ‘loves her and didn’t know if she would accept him’, Jasmine however wrote that she would have accepted him, but finding out from his mother makes it unacceptable to her.
