Checkout Pete Edochie’s reaction after his son, Yul announced he married a second wife
Vondigest reports that Veteran Nollywood actor, Chief Pete Edochie has reacted to the news that his son, Yul married a second wife.
Pete reacted by banishing his son’s second wife, Judy Austin from entering his household.
His son, Yul recently introduced his second wife to the world after 17 years of marriage with his May.
Reacting, these are Pete’swords: “I want the whole world and Nigerians to understand that as an Igbo man, I never support my son’s actions and as a statesman, I only recognized his first wife as the only authenticated wife of my son, the rest is banished from entering my household.”
Pete Edochie noted that marrying two wives does not confer a manly status on anyone.
The veteran actor stated how he felt concerning the second wife his son Yul had outside his knowledge, after having four children from the first wife.
According to him, right from when Yul was a child till now, he never listened to him.
“I’m not shocked that he has a son without my knowledge. A child that doesn’t listen to his father ends up cutting his or her life span short.”
Vondigest recalls that Yul on Wednesday, announced that he had welcomed a son with his second wife, Judy Austin, who is also a Nigerian actress.
The actor made the announcement on his Instagram page where he shared pictures of himself, Judy, and their son, Munachimso and his second wife.
Yul, who is 40-year-old and his wife, May, had marked their 17th wedding anniversary in October 2021.
He followed in his father’s footsteps and made his debut in the movie industry a year after he got married.
