Breaking: Buhari Appoints 75 years Old Professor Gambari as New Chief Of Staff
President Buhari on Tuesday, 12th, 2020 appointed Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari as the new Chief of Staff to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
After the death of the late Mallam Abba Kyari due to complications from Covid-19, Prof. Ibrahim has been given the official post as the new Chief Of Staff.
75 years old Prof. Ibrahim Agboola Gambari, who was born in November 24, 1944, in Ilorin, Kwara State is a Nigerian scholar and diplomat.
He was the Minister for External Affairs between 1984 and 1985. He worked with President Buhari as a Foreign Minister and confidant during his regime as military Head of State in the 1980s.
Gambari has served as Minister of External Affairs between 1984 and 1985. He was later appointed by former United Nations Secretary Ban Ki-moon and the chairperson of the African Union Commission as Joint African Union-United Nations Special Representative for Darfur in 2010.
Prof. Ibrahim was also the Special Adviser on the International Compact with Iraq and Other Issues for the UN Secretary General.
Prof. Ibrahim Gambari will resume office at the Presidential Villa on Wednesday 13th Of May.
