BBNaija: Nengi Also Body-Shamed Me When She Dated My Baby’s Father-Toyin Lawani
Fashion designer and entrepreneur, Toyin Lawani has called out Nengi over her description of Lucy as an amoeba during their big fight after the eviction show on Sunday, 9th August, 2020.
The drama resulted in the women calling each other names. Nengi called Lucy an old woman and amoeba, asking her to act her age. Nengi’s name-calling seemed to have gotten to the single mum of two, Lawani as she recalled a situation between her and the BBNaija housemate some years ago.
Lawani claimed that the fair BBNaija housemate, Nengi also called her the same name some time ago when she was dating her baby’s father.
According to Lawani, she had issues with her ex-lover sometime back and some ugly things were written about her. The mum of two said she wasn’t spared by some bloggers who trolled her with what her baby father said.
She revealed that she later found out that those things weren’t from her ex but his girlfriend, Nengi.

According to Toyin, she and her ex settled the matter behind closed doors for the sake of the child they have together. While she did not mention Nengi’s name, she pointed accusing fingers at her, noting that she used the same words on Lucy on national TV. “… Is it not ironic that the same words written on the internet were words used on national TV for everyone to see yesterday on @lucyedetofficial,” she wrote.
The stylist also revealed that Nengi does not respect her boundaries as she always made videos with her child. Toyin also said that Nengi trolled her for going under the knife and went ahead to do the same thing.
“I didn’t go on TV to put words in the mouth of the culprit, yet the same person went under the knife to look like me,” she said. While she noted that she has forgiven her, she said she would be retaliating with other information she has about her.
