Ambassador Dr. Engr. Kingsley Okwara Delivers Keynote Address at 1st Annual Lecture and Gala Night of the African Union Agenda 2063 Ambassadorial Assembly
Ambassador Dr. Engr. Kingsley Okwara, Deputy Head of Mission of the African Union Agenda 2063 Ambassadorial Assembly, delivered a compelling keynote address at the 1st Annual Lecture and Gala Night of the Assembly, held at Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja. His speech emphasized the critical role of African member states in integrating the goals and aspirations of Agenda 2063 to drive sustainable development across the continent.
Ambassador Okwara underscored the need for unity among African nations to foster an Africa without borders, reinforcing the Assembly’s commitment to regional integration and economic growth. In his address, he highlighted key initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of African citizens, including the organization’s mental health program, which promotes mental health awareness across the continent.
Additionally, he announced the upcoming launch of the Shield Bearer program, designed to support vulnerable populations, and introduced the “Rent to Own a Home” initiative, urging government leaders to adopt these programs as strategic tools for enhancing development and improving living standards.
