AGF Malami Marries Buhari’s Daughter As Third Wife (PHOTOS)
Vondigest reports that the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami has officially become a son-inlaw to President Buhari after he got married to Nana Hadiza on Friday.
Nana Hadiza (41) is the third daughter of President Buhari from his first wife, Safinatu. According to reports by The Cable, She tied the knot with Malami in a private ceremony held at the villa.
It was gathered that the ceremony took place inside the State House Mosque after the Jumat service, away from prying eyes of uninvited guests, including the media.
A source privy to the ceremony said, “it was performed after the Jamat service”.
According to the source, who spoke under conditions of anonymity, “it’s true, the Attorney-General is now officially an in-law of Mr President. He got married to Hadiza, one of Baba’s daughters from his late first wife, Safinatu.
“The Nikkai was performed after the Jumat in the State House mosque and not many people witnessed it. It was meant to be a private ceremony, so journalists couldn’t have been part of it”, the source said.
Her marriage with Malami also makes her the third wife of the minister. Hazida was married to Abdulrahman Mamman Kurfi and they reportedly had six children before ending their marriage.
Before his marriage to Hadiza, Malami was also married to Aisha and Fatima which makes Hadiza his third wife.
Malami was appointed the Minister of Justice in 2015, he wanted to contest in the Kebbi State governorship election in 2023 but he withdrew from the race after Buhari said that ministers must step down before contesting in an election.
The wedding has also sparked multiple reactions as the reports made rounds on social media.
