Progress Defeats Zadok To Win Nigerian Idol Season 7
Vondigest reports that Nigerian Idol season 7 came to a close on Sunday and Progress shocked Nigerians as he emerged winner of the season 7 edition
This online platform learnt that predictions had earlier tilted towards Zadok but surprisingly Progress emerged winner.
Last week, Banty was eliminated from the show, leaving Zadok and Progress to battle for the face of the show (Nigerian idol).
But fans of the show have had divergent opinions within the week on who may emerge the winner of this edition.
While majority of those who watch the show believe that Zadok has a complete star quality to be named the Nigerian musical idol, others have argued that Progress is never a pushover based on his performances in the last two to three episodes of the show.
Vondigest recalls that Zadok has undoubtedly remained the talk of the show due to his star quality and his all-around talent. Most of his performances were top-notch that got judges on their feet. However, his last performance gave him away.
Progress on the other hand had his ups and downs in the show, but rose to the challenge towards the end of the show, sending the likes of Banty out of the show. His last performance wowed both the judges and audience, giving him a better lifeline.
