Madagascar’s COVID-19 Cure Finally Approved by WHO
President of World Health Organization (WHO), Dr. Tedros Adhonom Ghabreyesus has finally given the go ahead for the approval of Madagascar’s Coronavirus clinical process remedy.
This eventually means that all interested countries can possibly purchase it. In one way or the other, Madagascar will make huge profit out of this development.
Below are his exact words he posted on his twittet timeline:
“Had a good call with HE Rajoelina, President of Madagascar, about the #COVID19 situation in his country. We discussed how to work together on therapeutics research and development. And we agreed that solidarity is key to fighting the pandemic and keeping the world safe.”
The President made this known via his Twitter official page handle. It came as a surprise following the teleconference Madagascar’s President, Andry Rajoelina.
Madagascar’s President, Rajoelina, also took to his twitter timeline to confirm the good news to the world. Rajoelina said he will sign a confidentiality clause with the World Health Organization(WHO) on the manufacturing of Covid-Organics, the potential cure for the pandemic.
It could be recalled that when Madagascar unvieiled the potential cure, initially, World Health Organization rejected it, stating that it is not yet approved.
Despite the rejection, Madagascar continued to use it to cure and fight against the pandemic.
A lot of African countries including Nigeria have already requested for the potential remedy.
