Bandits release Kidnapped students of Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic Kaduna
The kidnapped six students and two staff members of Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic in Zaria, Kaduna State, have been released by bandits.
Abdullahi Shehu, the institution’s spokesman, told Channels Television on Friday that the victims were freed on Thursday night at an undisclosed location in Kaduna.
Shehu went on to say that the bandits released the kidnapped students and staff members after their parents and relatives bargained with them.
However, the official did not specify whether or not a ransom was paid.
Shehu stated that the pupils will be met by school officials later in the day at a site where they were held following their release.
