BREAKING: 601 New Cases Of COVID19 in Nigeria, Global Death Toll Crosses 800,000
According to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Nigeria has recorded 601 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria. The global death toll crossed the 800,000 mark.
Lagos, the country’s COVID-19 epicentre, reported the highest number of cases with 404, while the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) posted 37 new infections.
Other regions with new cases include Oyo-19, Ondo-14, Abia-13, Enugu-13, Kaduna-13, Edo-12, Kano-12, Kwara-11, Ebonyi-10, Nasarawa-7, Ogun-6, Osun-5, Delta-5, Niger-5, Plateau-4, Bayelsa-4, Katsina-3, Ekiti-2, and Imo-2.
The NCDC reported one new death on Saturday, bringing the country’s death toll to 997; confirmed cases rose to 51,905, out of which 38,767 patients have recovered.
