Primate Ayodele To Hold Second Phase Of Palliative Market On February 14
The Leader Of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele has announced plans to hold the second phase of his palliative market on Wednesday, 14th Of February, 2024 In Lagos.
This is to further cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal and to reduce the impact of economic hardship on Nigerians.
It is also in fulfillment of his promise to hold a second edition after the maiden edition held on Sunday, 26th Of November, 2023 with over 10,000 beneficiaries. At the maiden edition, bags of rice, beans, garri were sold for less than N20,000, tubers of yam, Indomie, groceries were also sold for ridiculous prices.
Like the maiden edition, the second phase of the palliative market will be featuring more items that will be sold for very ridiculous prices. Items like rice, beans, Poundo yam, clothing materials, bread, indomie, and many more.
While speaking on the reason behind his decision to come up with a palliative market during the maiden edition, Primate Ayodele mentioned that apart from the fact that he is contributing his quota to the community, He is teaching the government how to properly help the people.
‘’I am doing this because the government has missed it. I am contributing my quota to society so I can help the government do their job. If they don’t know how to do it, we will teach them how to do it. This is a model for the government to follow. There is serious hunger in the land and if the government can reduce it to a certain level, economic hardship will reduce.’’
Also, beneficiaries of the maiden edition, some who are not even church members, expressed gratitude to Primate Ayodele for doing so much for the less privileged in the society.
One of them testified to Primate Ayodele’s benevolent acts for widows and the needy. She also revealed that she got a full bag of rice for N20,000.
‘’I thank God for Primate Ayodele, he has been helping us. He helped the widows and people that have nothing to eat. I can eat with my children with a full bag of rice I got for N20,000 .’’
Another beneficiary explained how packs of provision, five litres of vegetable oil, and a bag of beans was sold for N3,000 each.
‘’I don’t know how to say it but I am just amazed. I came here and saw this in a way I haven’t seen before. You could get a half bag of garri for just N1,000, a pack of provisions for N3,000, A 5 litres vegetable oil for N3,000 and I got beans as well for N3,000. This is a full bag of rice I got for just N20,000. INRI is the best.’’
Truly, the palliative market is another dimension; it’s a practical miracle in addition to everything Primate Ayodele has been doing. He is also the first and only man of God to have done this in recent times.
