Supreme Court Judgment: Atiku, Peter Obi Failed For Refusing Primate Ayodele’s Warnings
‘A dog that is bent on getting lost will not listen to the whistle of the hunter’, it appears the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party, Peter Obi have long decided to go astray in their political journeys and this made them ignore every form of call to order.
Before the presidential election was held, there were several counsel to the opposition parties of which Primate Ayodele’s prophecies were major. In all his prophecies, one constant thing was that if the opposition wanted to win, they should unite themselves, produce one candidate to tackle the ruling party.
Long before the election was held, Primate Ayodele categorically shared that Peter Obi cannot be president of Nigeria but he was carried away by the noise around his ambition and instead of listening to the prophecies, His followers began to speak ill of the prophet, calling him unprintable names.
These were the prophet’s words
“Peter Obi is a noise maker; he can’t make a single difference. Saying Obi will win the election is zero”. (https://dailypost.ng/2022/07/09/2023-youre-noisemakers-cant-win-presidency-primate-ayodele-tells-peter-obi-kwankwaso/)’’
For Atiku, Primate Ayodele stated that he had all it takes to be the president of Nigeria because he was God’s choice but advised him to take certain steps which include reconciling with aggrieved governors, championing a coalition with other opposition parties and uniting the PDP but did he carry out any of these tasks? No. Atiku went into the election with a divided party and this affected his victory in a great way.
These were Primate Ayodele’s words to him
‘’ “He can turn whatever is bad in Wike to good. He shouldn’t ignore these five governors because their annoyance can jeopardize his victory. He needs to re-strategize. He should ignore whoever asks him to neglect the governors.’’ (https://dailypost.ng/2022/11/27/2023-humble-yourself-settle-with-g-5-govs-primate-ayodele-warns-atiku/)
Primate Ayodele didn’t stop at that, he proceeded to advise them jointly about the dangers of ignoring the ‘Emi Lokan’ symbol of Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He stated then that if the opposition parties ‘sleep’, the word will become a reality but they didn’t listen. They continued to go against the advice of the man of God.
’The word ‘Emilokan’ is very spiritual, don’t take Tinubu for a joke with this word. ‘Emilokan’ should wake up the PDP and Labour party from sleeping. The word is more spiritual than physical. If you don’t want Tinubu to win, attack ‘Emilokan.’’
‘’PDP and Labour party should seek for the spiritual meaning of Emilokan, it’s a mysterious statement that Nigerians are joking with, it is not a joke, it is not proverbial.’’ (https://dailypost.ng/2023/01/31/emilokan-has-spiritual-meaning-dont-joke-with-tinubu-primate-ayodele/)
The election day came and as foretold by Primate Ayodele, oppositions lost with PDP and Labour Party coming second and third respectively. As usual of Nigeria’s election, the opposition approached the election tribunal to challenge the victory of President Tinubu but lost woefully again.
After the election tribunal loss, Primate Ayodele spoke again and advised PDP and Labour party not to approach the Supreme Court because it will be a total waste of money. He described it as throwing N1 Billion into the fire because it will be a total waste of resources. Infact, he told them to go and prepare for 2027 because nothing will come out of the Supreme Court case.
These were his words
‘’Going to the Supreme Court is like throwing a billion naira into the fire. I told them Tinubu was ready but they didn’t listen. Peter Obi and Atiku cannot win at the Supreme Court; they should forget it and wait for another election. They ought to have learnt their lessons now so they can prepare well for the next election.’’ (https://pmnewsnigeria.com/2023/09/10/dont-waste-your-money-forget-about-supreme-court-primate-ayodele-tells-atiku-peter-obi/)
Earlier in September again, Primate Ayodele spoke about the two opposition candidates and said that it is impossible for them to recover any mandate because they didn’t listen to God’s warnings before the election. He still reiterated that Peter Obi cannot be Nigeria’s president and Atiku is playing his last politics.
“Only God can help Obi and Atiku politically. Atiku is playing his last politics and Peter Obi will not be Nigeria’s president even in the next dispensation, it won’t even go to the Igbos.
“It is only divine intervention that can help them, no judge can help them, the truth is bitter, and they failed to hear it, they bombarded themselves with lies that suit their ego.
“They had everything needed to defeat the ruling party, I warned them, gave them instructions, but they didn’t listen. I warned them repeatedly about APC’s gimmicks, but they rejected every warning.’’

Just like that stubborn dog hell bent on getting lost, both of them didn’t listen rather; they intensified their efforts to file an appeal at the supreme court to challenge Tinubu. Atiku on his end went the extra mile to Chicago State University to obtain documents and fresh evidence to substantiate his claims of forgery against Tinubu and seek his disqualification.
Unfortunately for him, despite everything he channeled; Money, time, strength, human capacity, towards getting the evidence, they were rejected at the Supreme Court because the court lacked jurisdiction. This further spells Primate Ayodele’s prophecy that ‘Going to supreme court will be a total waste’. For Atiku, it was indeed a serious waste.
For Peter Obi, it didn’t take the court so much time to dismiss his appeal; it was the shortest and easiest to be dismissed at the supreme court today. The court then upheld the election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the duly elected candidate.
Truly, the character exhibited by Atiku and Peter Obi is that of ‘A dog that is bent on getting lost and chose not to listen to the whistle of the hunter’. The embarrassing loss seems like a determination made by both parties even before they decided to run for election.
