Rising Star, WD Receives First Award In Music Industry
Vondigest reports that top rising musician, Wisdom Onodiana Roland, popularly known as WD has received his first award as a musician in Nigeria.
This occurred during Mavaro Awards that took place at Mavaro Night Club, Lekki on October 9, 2022.
The CEO of Mavaro Night Club, presented the award to him in recognition of an outstanding performance in the entertainment industry.
While receiving the award, WD gave a speech of appreciation to the CEO of Mavaro Award, he said: “Nevertheless, I am very glad to deliver my speech on such an important and momentous occasion in my life. It is a huge honour for me to receive this Award in recognition of an outstanding performance in entertainment of the year 2022. I am deeply honored by the C.E.O of Mavaro Award for this recognition of my work. Thank you so much sir.”
WD is an afrocentric/Raggae Dancehall performing art. He recently dished out a hit single titled ‘Lie’. The song was produced, mixed and mastered by Seedmella after his breakout debut titled ‘Welcome To Lagos’ which was also produced by Seedmella.
